Nikki Beach Restaurant and Bar, The View Restaurant and Wine Lounge, The Cliff Bar and Grill, Red Snapper, and Rocky’s shined at inauguration of “The Secret Chef Society”.
Koh Samui, Thailand - Monday September 6, 2010 – The arguably top five restaurants on Koh Samui came together Friday, August 27, 2010 at Nikki Beach Bungalow Resort in order to officially launch their new dining initiative, The Secret Chef Society. A groundbreaking concept, The Secret Chef Society is an opportunity for food lovers, both local and visiting, to easily and expansively enjoy the quality and innovative cuisine to be found across the island. A convenient program designed to streamline one’s culinary experience on Koh Samui, the concept was a massive success with great response by all in attendance due to the no fuss and no nuisance nature of the program. The way it works:
Upon conclusion of a meal at one of the cooperating restaurants where guests accumulate a total upwards of a fixed amount (extremely reasonable), each diner will be presented with a membership card. This, quite literally, concludes your application process. On the back of said membership card will be the list of distinguished restaurants for which this newest member now has VIP access to.This entails preferred seating, access to an exclusive menu only available to those belonging to the Society, and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.
All five head Chefs from each participating restaurant were present at the event and in their element, personally presenting a tasting preview of what members have in store for them. Guests were all a buzz as they migrated from table to table (each representing one of the restaurants) sampling the vast array of superior and inspired food. Most certainly the new forefront of the ever-expanding future of Koh Samui, The Secret Chef Society captured the imaginations of everyone from your “average Joe” to your most discriminating foodie.
