We have launched a new environmental friendly campaign – “Save the World”. The campaign focus on creating awareness to everyone in the resort including the resort’s guests and the employees.

The campaign includes recycling paper, plastic, glass bottles, Guest’s rooms changing routine of bed sheet and towels, and Grey Water Recycling - that recycles minimum 30 cubic meters of water daily, and uses it for irrigation.

Nowadays, a great hotel must not only focus on transactions but must also focus on being an agency that helps transforming society and bringing about a meaningful change to the environment surrounding us and ultimately for a better, greener world.

Global Conglomerate Nikki Beach Announces Thai Partnership in New Progressive Restaurant Promotion Concept

Nikki Beach Koh Samui and KC Hotels & Resorts International, along chief Koh Samui restaurants The Cliff, The View Restaurant & Wine Lounge, Red Snapper, and Rocky's Boutique Resort, reveal contemporary dining experience program, "The Secret Chef Society."

Koh Samui, Thailand - August 12, 2010 - Partnering Restaurants of the Secret Chef Society move forward this week in what is thought to be the next level in exclusive dining at their Koh Samui locations. Comprised of top chefs and their respective restaurants, The secret Chef Society provides an ideal avenue for enjoying the best food and service Koh Samui has to offer in the form of memberships with accompanying benefits.

Diners who attend one of the participating restaurants and amount a bill upwards of the considerably reasonable minimum price per person will automatically be awarded admittance to The Society. In departure from the more common, typically bothersome diner's clubs, patrons will promptly be given a sleek membership card at the conclusion of their meal which will detail the other venues they are immediately granted VIP access to. Upon arrival at on of the esteemed restaurants of The Society, the customer need only present their membership card in order to begin enjoying the advantages, commencing with preferred seating at a uniquely adorned table and complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Aside from being given the standard restaurant menu, they will also be presented with a select, preferential menu restricted to Society members that will consist of dishes from the host Chef's innermost inspiration and fancy.

The official launch of "The Secret Society" will take place on August 27, 2010 at Nikki Beach Koh Samui. All Chefs belonging to the Society will be on hand themselves . previewing their signature dishes and superior cooking styles. Hailing from all over the world, each Chef contributes a different facet to the program. the drawing from their extensive training and travels.

About the colaborating Chefs :

Chef Brian Malloy's illustrious career, spanning nearly two decades, had its beginnings inIreland which also serves as his homeland. Having cooked at four corners of the world and everywhere in between, Chef Malloy was a pioneer in Global Cuisine and used its elements to create the food that Nikki Beach frequenters have come to kanow and love.

Chef Azizkandar Awang (Rock's Boutique Resort), originally from Kuala Lumpur, was classically trained in French cuisine and has earned several national awards including top honors at The Young Chef Challenge in Malaysia (2004). As the new Executive Chef at Rocky's, he has been delighting guests with his French and Mediterranean approach to fine dining.

Chef Sebastien Meunier (Red Snapper - Chaweng Resort), a native of France from Cagnes Sur Mer, worked on an array of Michelin restaurants before blessing Thailandwith his talents. Providing a modern take on Mediterranean cuisine, one can always expect cutting-edge technique, the freshest of produce, and a "big twist of passion."

Chef Ryan Dadufalza (The View Restaurant & Wine Lounge-KC Resort and Over Water Villas) was born and raised on Guam and received his formal training at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, New York. Truly characterizing the concept of "Home-Crafted Cuisine," diners revel in his creative use of locally sourced ingredients produced in-house.

Chef Adrian Torres (The Cliff Bar and Grill) began his career at Le Cordon Blue Peru, located in his home town of Lima. Since then, his repertoire has grown to include influences from his time working Spain, Cuba, and New Zealand. Now bringing his expertise to Koh Samui, patrons can expect homemade, yet refined flavors built from the best domestic ingredients found on the island. All with his personal touch shining brilliantly through.

Samui Jazz Festival 2010

The Nation's Largest Free Jazz Festival

Tonight Germany will be playing against Spain; if you can trust the appetizer look-alike “Paul the Oracle Octopus” from Germany, living in an Aquarium in Oberhausen; Spain will win. Many believe he is wrong – but what do you think?

The Final would be boring with Spain playing the Netherlands – we need some heritage “pulling-each-others-legs” border push-and-shove.

Anyhow the game of the Dutch against Uruguay was more of a fight for the Oranje, then when facing Brazil. Another game filled with controversial goals and future speculations.

Dinner Event @ KC's "The View"

Chef Ryan's Dinner Event this past Friday was definitely a memorable dining experience. 

Five courses, along with beautifully paired wines were both astounding and pleasing to all 5 senses. Highlighting the night, a bouquet of orchids were placed on the dinner table, simultaneously with our dessert and as the servers poured some form of liquid into the centerpiece of orchids, an enchanting misty cloud floated through out the dinner table with the most delightful scent of almonds. A round of applause filled the room... 

We were all on cloud nine as we savored our unparalleled desert. What a sweet ending to a perfect evening of wining and dining!
